Vehcile was filled up and driven to friends house. Vehicle was stationary at friends house for few hours. When leaving i smelled the odor of gas. Got light to observe puddle of gas under vehicle. I drove home because it was dark and waited to inspect in the morning. When re-inspected it was verified gas was leaking from inside an inset on the bottom of the gas tank.

Bought the car used drove home .... Car sat for a while came out to the smell of gas so strong the gas tank is leaking at the seams... Tank is damp from gas soaking in..... The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was no longer under warranty. The failure mileage was 79,500.
