2022 Kia Sorento Oil Capacity

The 2022 Kia Sorento takes 6.1 qt of engine oil for either engine listed in the facts. The required oil grade differs by engine, so identify which engine is in your Sorento before choosing oil. These figures are engine-specific; they are not a single grade recommendation for every 2022 Sorento.

For the G4KM engine, the listed capacity is 6.1 qt with 0W-20 oil. For the G4KP engine, the listed capacity is also 6.1 qt, but the specified grade is 0W-30. The facts do not identify which trims use each engine, so do not infer the engine from trim alone. Check the vehicle’s engine information if you are unsure which entry applies.

Capacity figures describe the listed engine, while oil grade changes between the two engines. If your engine or the correct capacity is not confirmed by these facts, check the oil information on the door jamb or in the owner’s manual before servicing.
